The starting challenge
Collège Jean de la Mennais, located near Montreal, is a private secondary school with around 1,700 students.
The high school wanted to renew its assets and develop an energy efficiency and GHG emissions reduction project in line with the environmental values it embodies and transmits to its students.
The SOFIAC offer appeared particularly advantageous for this establishment organized as an NPO with low debt capacity.
A turnkey approach, 100% financed
SOFIAC provided the necessary financing and expertise to implement measures to reduce energy consumption. The innovative SOFIAC approach enabled the high school to decarbonize its facilities and improve conditions for students while preserving its capital to develop other campus facilities.
The SOFIAC project also created a positive cash flow for the school.
Results
- $3 M invested by SOFIAC
