The starting challenge
Collège Bourget is a private educational institution in Quebec with 2,000 students from preschool to high school.
Committed since 2022 to an ecological transition, the Collège was already financing an ambitious project to refurbish its aquatic complex with its own capital. The establishment was looking for a way to finance additional energy efficiency measures to massively decarbonize its facilities.
Innovative financing
SOFIAC proposed an innovative approach to unlock the Collège’s decarbonization potential. This innovative financing model, focused on energy efficiency and the transfer of asset ownership as of project start-up, offers Collège Bourget the opportunity to modernize its infrastructure while maintaining its financial stability.
